The concept of making good use of the hot spring waters reflects the most traditional Roman practices, as it is distributed into several immersion pools with different temperatures regulated according to a hot spring circuit system and the needs of every person. The therapy starts with the hot waters, increasing temperature according to tolerance and the relaxation needs of every visitor. Then there is a resting period, temperate and cold baths combined to tone up.
A day in the Lahuen Co spa, “miracolous waters” in the Mapuche tongue, includes sessions in the various pools, Vichy shower, hot spring mud therapy, shiatsu, Thai massage, Ayurveda with essential oils, outdoor yoga and tai chi lessons. Furthermore, there are private suites to take baths and massages in a highly intimate environment.

This is an extension of the Copahue Thermal Spa, but it is installed in the core of the District of Caviahue, located 18 km away. Caviahue is in the Province of Neuquén, on the shores of Lake Caviahue, surrounded by a wild scenery scattered with creeks, cascades and forests.
The hot spring services are provided at the Instituto de Seguridad Social del Neuquén Hotel venue, which has the proper facilities and highly qualified staff for visitors to profit from the various treatments. The temperature of the water ranges between 50 and 60ºC. Besides, long sessions of mud therapy, with mud extracted from the sulphurous lagoon of the Copahue hot springs and inhalation therapies may be enjoyed. |
