The circuit includes mainly the streets of the old cask of the town, where you will see some typical buildings of the pioneers times.
The guide will also tell you about the history of these pioneers and show you the fauna and flora, as well as other interesting details tresured in this touristic village. |
You will visit Laguna NImez (see outing), only some meters from the coast of Lake argentino, where you can watch the birds through some powerful binoculars at your disposal on the vehicle.
Then you will visit the orchards area, where fine fruit like strawberries, cherries, and sour cherries are cultivated with great effort. |

You will appreciate the different production techniques transmitted from generation to generation. |
You will also pass by Cuevas del Gualichu (see outing), an archaeological site distant 7 km. from the city, where you will see the prints of the first men who inhabitted these lands.
Finally you will stop at the mirador of Virgen de la Paz to contemplate El Calafate from an astonishing viewpoint. |
