Next to Casona Alemana is Casa Juptner, built in 1910 by Doña María Klenner, widower of Juptner.
It shows a neoclassic influence for the symmetry of its facade and sash windows with frames crowned by a straight front. |

In Quintanilla street you will find Casa Maldonado , dating from 1915 and characterized by moors coated by horizontal planks and covered by timber tiles. It has a rectangular storey, hip roof and a central balcony, having its main facade an opewn corridor with pillars. In doors and windows there are details typical of a neoclassic style. |
Casa Optiz, situated in Terraplén street in the Station neighbourhood, was built in 1915 by Mr. Federico Hischfeld. It is built in two-storeys with an H shape creating an exterior patio. The façades are symmetrical with neoclassic elements such as cornices, pilasters and metal stamped moldings. It has a wooden framework with moors and covers coated by grooved metal planks. At present the house belongs to Mr. Guillermo Optiz.
Casa Raddatz belongs to Doña Elisa Raddatz and was built in 1916 by the merchant Caros Whielm to install a hardware store at the corner of Eleuterio Ramírez street and the coast road Vicente Pérez Rosales. The building possesses a wooden frame structure with walls and cover coated in timber tiles. It has an L shape `with an octagonal corner and some exquisite ornamental details in frames and crowned doors and windows.
The Lutheran Temple dates from 1923. It was built in a high terrain near the lake, what makes it stand out. The materials used, wooden frame with oak walls and cover coated in timber tiles, is typical of the region.
It possesses a central tower over the access and an octagonal drum with an eight layer spire. It also has vanes with pointed arcs, which confer a gothic aspect.. |
