Fishing
Near the Volcano there are numerous fishing spots, where you can get driving, walking or horseback riding.
You may choose from a variety of places like Laguna La Achacosa, Escondida, El Rincón and Hualcupen, where you will find Rainbow Trout, and Perch and be able to practise casting and fly casting.

Small Game Hunting
Hunting enthusiasts will find an abundant number of rabbits in Cañadón del Trolope, 25 km. from Copahue and equally far from Caviahue, along route Nº 26 turning towards the canyon. |

Most hunting lots are inside private properties, for what you must previously ask for the corresponding permit to the owners of those estancias, since this activity is subject to specific national and provincial regulation. |
