At the corner of San Martín and Almirante Brown is the historical wagon that belonged to the train constructed in 1898.
It had berth, sitting room and dining-room, and was used for the line Puerto Deseado - Las Heras between the years 1909 and 1978. |

It was the protagonist of the political events occured in Santa Cruz in 1920 and 1921, then sold at an auction in 1980, recovered by a popular mobilization and declared Provincial Historical Monument. |

It was declared Municipal Historical Monument, constructed with stones from the region with medieval reminiscences in 1909, and until the beginning ogf the seventies, it joined this coastal region with Las Heras. |

An old pier fully constructed in wood in 1911/12, where loading and unloading of the ships that arrived at that time was carried out.
There were tracks for the transshipping of cargo from the wagons.
It was remodelled and at presnt possesses its old wooden base, with a concrete platform and illumination. |
¤ Nuestra Señora de la Guardia Church
San José Salesian School
They are situated in the streets 12 de Octubre and Don Bosco.
There you can visit Father Beauvoir Museum and the mausoleum where his mortal remais are kept. |
¤ Spanish Fort
On the right margin of Deseado river is signalled the place where a fort was constructed in 1780 under the orders of Don Antonio de Viedma, and in 1790, the real Compañía de Pesca was established and slaughttered eleven million sea wolves. At present there are no traces of the ruins discovered in 1931 and visible until 1933, since they have been used as filling for streets, buildings and sewers.
