If you visit this zone when we recommend, you can enjoy the activities organized by the Municipality of General Roca, specially for children and adolescents.
In this oasis in the middle of the High Valley you will find trees such as willows, terebinth shrubs, poplars, and aquatic birds like black-necked swans, cormorants, herons, bald coots and ducks, all protected by conservationist laws.
You can also visit "El Náutico", another beautiful place situated on the east of the highway bridge. To get there you must cross the bridge and take the first turning on the left, a pebble coast emplaced over the main branch of the river Negro where you can practise jet ski, rowing and other aquatic activities, always respecting safety rules and bearing in mind that the stream in this place is very strong.

This pebble coast, which is covered by the water in the winter, is good for picnics with the family or friends.
You must take into account that this area does not have any services, and due to the characteristics of the river in this sector, swimming in the river is not allowed.
If you visit the High Valley in summer, do not miss the opportunity to enjoy the best beach resorts in the area, as good as any of the best known beaches in the country.
