Within a vast forested park in the heart of the city is situated the Hot Spring, a place meant for health and recreation, with swimming-pools and a camping site. Apart from the permanent medical service for the Hot Spring, there are also hydromassage tubs, masseur, mud therapy, short wave and infrared among other services. There are also algae colonies, another thermal resource. |
The chemical quality of these waters, similar to sea waters rich in chlorides, sulfates, sodium and potassium salts, flow naturally at a temperature of 30ºC, for what they are very effective for relaxation, contractures and rehabilitation in patients with rheumatism, arthrosis and arthritis. They are also good for skin affections like psoriasis, eczemas, and for post-operative, thraumatological and orthopedic states, as well as for breathing affections.
Larroudé Hot Springs is an excellent spot for family recreation. Since it is immersed in a wide forested park, one can enjoy nature in an environment of tranquility and clean air.
