    Lorenzo Vintter Regional History Museum was founded in 1949 by Roca's neighbours, who compiled the information about the city and helped the teacher Manuel Félix Arenaza in its foundation.
    It is situated in 1650 España street, where the old Town Hall building was emplaced. Its historic value and wide dimensions make it a good place for a museum.

When crossing the heavy doors of the museum, you will be invaded by the first feeling of awe as you start learning about the habits of the first inhabitants of this region.
The historic records kept in this museum speak by themselves.

The value of this building is so important that in 1892 it was declared "Historic Monument" by the Provincial Government.
In the museum there are five rooms characterized by their thematic indexes.

In the "First Settlers" room there are several pieces donated by the neighbours, which recreate the life of men in the farms and the difficult circumstances they went through due to the hard climate of the region.
In the hall called "Encounter of Two Worlds" you will visualize the encounter of aboriginal cultures with different migratory groups from the beginning of the XX century. There you will find tools and utensiles used by the aborigines.

In the halls called "Ancient Roca" and "The City's Party" you will recreate the city's old times and learn more about it through objects such as the first radios used in this region and several toiling machines which marked the productive history of the place.

At present the museum is being re-modelled. A sound system with 18 loudspeakers displayed in the different sectors is being assembled, and a system of virtual guiding for visitors is being installed to play a recorded version with details of the historic details of the elements exhibited and other data about the history of the city.
