Laguna de Los Patos

    Only 2 km. from the center of the city is Laguna de los Patos, which concentrates several species of native fowls in the middle of patagonian desert.

    Bird watching lovers will find in this environment an ideal spot to watch ducks, kelp geese, flamingos and black neck swans, among other species.

This lagoon was formed by the recycling of residual waters, which are used for the irrigation of this space and of the tree nursery of the city.

    The access through the circumvallation of National Route Nº 43 to the south of the city is signalled.

    In front of Laguna de los Patos about a thousand trees have been planted and will soon form a space for recreation.
