T his Museum was inaugurated on 2nd April 1995, depending on the Comando de la XI Brigada Mecanizada. It is constituted by three rooms and an external patio with elements, weapons and papers from the war.
The building was granted by the Provincial Government to be used as a Museum, with the only support of different companies, being the only objective of its creation to keep alive the memory of those who fought on the Falklands.
The visits to the Museum are guided, and explanations are based on three criteria to support that these Islands are Argentinian:Historical, Jurisdictional and Geographical.
There is a library, a video collection and a projections hall. The space is shared with the Asociación Centro de Veteranos de Guerra de Malvinas "Soldado José Honorio Ortega", who enrich the expositions with their experiences.
