In the province of Río Negro, and in particular in the city of General Roca, you may visit several wineries with ecological characteristics of their own.
The wines produced in these austral wineries acquire from the soil of the desert a special identity, bestowed by the sunny days and the cold nights in a peculiar harmony.

    Among the most outstanding wineries we can mention Humberto Canale, founded in 1913. This renowned wine settlement has received several nationala and international awards.
    There you can observe the production cycle and walk around the vineyards submerged in a special atmosphere with friendly people, whereeach one of the grapes is carefully and patiently selected.
    You will appreciate the big barrels and French oak casks in the original building, in an excellent preservation state.
    By the end of these visits you will have known the most precious secrets of every one of the bodies that compose the wines of the south of the world. Cheers!

    The visit ends in the museum of the wine cellar with an exquisite taste of these first level wines, surrounded by old machines and tools.
    Another excellent winery we highly recommend is Viñedos Agrestis.
    In this settlement you can taste the most delicate natural foaming wines and champagnes ellaborated with the traditional method of fermentation of bottles and varietal wines.
