A singular experience proposed by Ski Pucón invites skiers onto the slopes of the Villarrica Volcano. Located at a short distance from the urban center, within the Villarrica National Park, this resort has 20 runs to practice skiing and snowboarding with excellent infrastructure, services and snow quality. Ski Pucón is an undertaking by the prestigious Gran Hotel Pucón Resort & Club, which has been in charge of the facilities selected to perform countless international level sport competitions since 1990.
"Snowboard Paradise" was the name given to this site by the experts of this sport due to its natural ravines and half pipes.
Its skiable surface spreads from 1,200 to 1,800 meters over sea level on the northeastern wall of the volcano, which enables visitors to see the landscape of five lakes in the South of Chile from its summit. The wet and icy snow on the slopes and the wet compacted snow on the base is maintained even in spring, which enables the season to be extended till October.
