The Maurice van de Maele Historical and Anthropological Museum, located in Valdivia, Chile, is housed in the Anwandter House, a building built in the 1860s by Carlos Anwandter, a pioneer of German colonization in the region. This house was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1981.

The museum houses a collection that reflects the social history of the region and its cultural diversity, including the presence of the Huilliche populations, Spanish influence, and German colonization. Among the exhibits are archaeological objects, tools, toys, jewelry, textiles, ceramics and a photographic collection that illustrate the historical and cultural evolution of Valdivia.
