Trails and Lifts at Lago Hermoso

The trails and lift system have been designed to offer a comfortable, smooth experience in close contact with nature. The resort features a set of nine trails designed for all skill levels, from gentle, safe areas ideal for beginners to more technical runs with greater slope and challenge, aimed at experienced skiers. These trails, surrounded by native forests and offering unique views of Lanín National Park, include circuits approved by the International Ski Federation, allowing for official competitions to take place.

The heart of the lift system is the “Pudú” quad chairlift, which transports skiers from the base to the mid-mountain areas. For beginners, the resort base is equipped with a modern conveyor belt, known as a magic carpet and inaugurated in 2025, which provides a safe and easy ascent for children and novice skiers. There is also a pommel lift that connects higher and more challenging areas, used for both traditional and backcountry skiing.

Throughout the mountain, trail conditions are maintained with specialized machinery, including a state-of-the-art PistenBully 600 Polar snow groomer. In addition, the incorporation of snowmaking cannons ensures good conditions even when snowfall is scarce. All of this is complemented by a system that limits the daily number of visitors, avoiding long lines and allowing each run to be enjoyed peacefully.
