InterPatagonia is a small Patagonian company that was born in 1998 as 7lagos.com, founded by Cristina Sabaliauskas, Andrea Bardou and Rolando Fernández Climent. At first the site covered the Seven Lakes Route (national route 234), with San Martín de los Andes, Junín de los Andes, Villa La Angostura and Villa Traful, and over time it added towns in Argentina and Chile until it covered the whole lakes corridor.
In February 2001, interpatagonia.com showed a single line: “...you can’t imagine what we’re building!”. A year later it was a portal for all of Argentine and Chilean Patagonia, organized into five corridors: Gran Valle, Los Lagos, Las Playas, Central and Austral. Since 2002, 7lagos.com leads to InterPatagonia’s Los Lagos corridor.
