Chef Rafael Figueroa has been behind the main restaurant at
Portillo for more than 12 years. His cuisine rescues the best
Chilean proposal and also presents elaborate traditional international
dishes combining fish, seafood, fruit, vegetables, Argentinian
meat and lamb. To fall into line, the wine menu offers the
most important Chilean and world wineries.
At the hotel self-service, located on the first floor, the
Inca Lodge guests have lunch and, in the evenings, the members
of the ski school turn the site into an amusing meeting point.
La Posada is another choice. A rustic restaurant at the entrance
of the city center, visited by the hotel and the ski school
employees.
Nestled in the mountain, Tío Bob's restaurant is a
mandatory midday stop that suggests grilled meat and fish
with various kinds of salad.
Another attraction of the ski resort is El Bar, which invites
visitors to taste sandwiches, appetizers and specially fondues
in the evenings, around its fireplace or at the bar.
