Description:
Located in the Valdés Peninsula, in Punta Norte, 60 kilometers from Puerto Pirámides, San Lorenzo invites visitors to spend one day in the countryside surrounded by a unique natural environment. With a surface of 5,134 hectares and 4,600 meters of coastline on the San Matías Gulf, sheep cattle is raised at the estancia, which welcomes visitors who wish to see its important Magellan penguin colony.
Escorted by the park rangers, who offer information about the behavior and the characteristics of these sea birds, visitors tour the penguin colony towards the beach, while they watch the nests and the youngs, according to the season.
After a quiet stroll to watch the colony, guests may enjoy a typical Patagonian lunch, such as lamb grilled on the asador or some mate with tortas fritas and pastelitos. Also, they can take part in several country games.
