I had a truly great stay at Hostel El Rodeo.
The hostel is very comfortable and well-equipped. There is a large, spacious kitchen with everything you might need. Hot water is available, the bathroom is clean, and even small but important details like toilet paper and basic amenities are always provided — which honestly makes a big difference when traveling.
The rooms are not large, but they are perfectly designed for two people, which makes them very practical and cozy.
The owner is incredibly pleasant, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. I contacted him directly via WhatsApp (using the phone number provided here), and he responded quickly. Booking was easy and smooth, and I was very satisfied with my stay.
He also kindly helped me with logistics by providing reliable contacts for airport transfer to Balmaceda, which was extremely helpful.
Highly recommended for anyone staying in the area. A very positive experience overall

Excelente lugar. Las habitaciones son cómodas. Los baños limpios y el agua sale bien caliente para bañarse. El anfitrión Juan super amable. La sala común tiene todo para sentirte como en casa, con el hogar prendido desde tempranito.
Si andan por Villa Cerro Castillo es un lugar para quedarse sin pensarlo.

If you need a bed, big kitchen and hot shower after hiking in cerro castillo national park, definitely stay here! Has everything you need at a fair price for the area. The owner is very friendly and has laundry service too for a good price. He put a fire on for me too.

Me gustó muchísimo quedarme en este hostal, todo muy limpio, cuentan con una cocina común full equipada, las duchas con agua caliente y calefacción con salamandra constantemente prendida. Pasamos navidad aquí con mi pareja y Don Juan, el administrador, nos trajo una tabla para compartir, copas y sidra. Este es solo un ejemplo de lo acogedor y amable que es. Muy agradecidos de este espacio y recomendado.

A really comfy little hostal with a cosy feel. Large communal area and kitchen with a log burner that the owner keeps lit during the day. Hot showers. Each room has 2 single beds and a small area to hang/store clothes. Space for parking motorcycles or a couple of cars. Friendly owner and a reasonable price of 20,000 per night.

Excelente lugar!! Muy recomendado, tiene la estufa prendida todo el día y noche, por lo que el hostal se mantiene siempre calentito, tiene tender de ropa al lado de la estufa lo que está súper bueno para secar todo!
Baños súper limpios, cocina súper bien equipada, tiene varias mesas y sillones es muy acogedor!
Las piezas están súper bien, dos camas por pieza, mantas y frazadas para el frío.
