Three days of shows, producers’ and crafts stalls and contests every January in the National Capital of Soft Fruit, in the Comarca Andina.
Every January, in the middle of the raspberry, strawberry, cherry and currant harvest, El Hoyo celebrates the crops that made it known. This town in northwestern Chubut, in the Comarca Andina del Paralelo 42, was declared National Capital of Soft Fruit in 1986, and its festival brings together three days of music, producers’ and crafts stalls, food and contests. It is organized by the Municipality of El Hoyo.

What to see and do
- Nights of shows on the main stage, with local, regional and national artists.
- Stalls of producers and artisans from the Comarca.
- Food, contests and sports activities.

When it takes place
It is held in January, over three days. In 2025, the 37th edition ran from January 10 to 12. In 2026 it was planned for January 9 to 11, but it was suspended because of the Puerto Patriada forest fire and held from January 29 to 31, at the sports grounds, as a solidarity festival for those affected. The date of each edition is announced by the Municipality of El Hoyo.
